TaskBrand® PPF Static Control Wipe

- Pre-saturated wipe with 70/30 blend (70% isopropyl alcohol, 30% de-ionized water)
- Reduces static charge, minimizing the attraction of dirt
- Cleans surfaces thoroughly to lower the risk of paint defects
- Ideal for moderate temperature and/or humid conditions
- Usually used 30 minutes prior to base coat
- After applying, let air dry completely before painting base coat
Wipe down the surface with the Pre-saturated static control wipe prior to applying the base coat and let it air dry. Do NOT use a dry wipe to dry the surface after you’ve used the Static Control Wipe. Doing so will only add a static charge to the surface. A 70/30 mix of IPA to water reduces static charge on the surface thus reducing the chance of defects in the final product.
