However, these products can be disposed of after use in high-risk areas like bathrooms or healthcare facilities, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination. 

4. Color-Coded for Safety: To prevent cross-contamination, Chesterfield schools implemented a color-coded cleaning system using SmartRags® and SmartPads®. Each cloth or pad color is assigned to a specific area, ensuring that those used in high-risk areas, like bathrooms, are never reused in safer zones. SmartRags® are available in seven colors, while SmartPads® come in blue and green—ideal for differentiating between cleaning zones.
